少女的灰燼

故事主角為高菊花，鄒族阿里山人。菊花的父親因遭政府的惡意栽贓而被判處死刑，原本看似擁有美好人生的菊花，就此走上完全不同的道路。


展件以菊花的一生為主題。地面上的大樹象徵著原住民亦或是阿里山部落，樹葉中暗藏著監控的眼睛；地面下的試管則象徵來自外界的侵害，一些不該屬於土地的異物與菊花原本不該承受的人生。


在試管中可以看見數個故事內容，創作者以故事埋藏於試管中，以及上有石頭重壓的方式呈現，呼應菊花晚年不想談論的種種過往。


在這個展品中，可以看見國家對於菊花的種種不應該有的暴力與傷害，並感受到國家或威權對於一個人或一個族群的各種侵害，是從根到葉梢全面性的傷害，即使到今日，仍都以不同形式殘存。

樹根偷偷變得盤根錯節

大樹一號

一棵樹倒了，

下一顆樹很快就再次出現。

第一棵樹因使用紙板製作，在上色後吸入水份，加上結構性與重量問題，樹枝一日日下垂，好似被颱風掃到。


為了在展期間維持直挺的設計，在展期間趕緊用了風口版做第二版，也同時改善結構，並接受觀眾建議，延伸地面長度與增加土壤層樹根，提高作品完整度。
